Serum Amyloid A (SAA) Test Kit (Fluorescence Immunoassay)
Application
It is suitable for quantitative determination of serum amyloid A (SAA) in human plasma or whole blood in vitro.
Package
1 test/kit, 5 tests/kit, 10 tests/kit, 25 tests/kit, 50 tests/kit.
Clinical Significance
1. SAA is a sensitive index for diagnosing virus and bacterial infection. SAA is superior to CRP in bacterial infectious diseases.
The trend is: early rise, large range and high sensitivity, especially in the early stage of acute bacterial infection, the advantage of detecting SAA is more significant;
2. SAA in viral infectious diseases, SAA is significantly increased, CRP does not increase, so SAA can be used as a diagnostic disease.
Sensitive indicators of viral infection;
3. SAA combined with CRP detection can not only distinguish and diagnose bacterial and viral infection, but also provide new basis, which is more reliable. It can dynamically observe the curative effect and guide clinical medication;
4.SAA combined with CRPPCT detection is conducive to early diagnosis of infective diseases (sepsis and sepsis) in children.
Main components
The kit consists of serum amyloid A detection reagent card, detection buffer, ID card, and instructions.
Serum amyloid A detection reagent card: serum amyloid A monoclonal antibody (0.1-2 mg/mL), anti-chicken IgY polyclonal antibody (0.1-2 mg/mL), time-resolved fluorescent microsphere-labeled serum amyloid A Monoclonal antibody (0.1-2 mg/mL) and time-resolved fluorescent microsphere-labeled chicken IgY polyclonal antibody (0.1-2 mg/mL).
Detection buffer: 0.01M phosphate buffer, pH=7.4±0.5, Proclin 300 0.3g/L.
Serum Amyloid A (SAA)
Serum amyloid A, abbreviated as SAA, is an acute phase protein with little content in plasma under normal circumstances. When the body is stimulated by antigens such as virus, bacteria, mycoplasma and chlamydia, the liver synthesizes a large amount of SAA into the blood. When the antigen is cleared, the level of SAA will decrease rapidly. Therefore, the increase of serum amyloid A is usually caused by various infections, especially special virus infections and rheumatic diseases, Such as hand, foot and mouth disease, Epstein Barr virus infection, cytomegalovirus infection, rotavirus infection, herpetic stomatitis, Kawasaki disease, serum amyloid protein increased significantly. In addition, when trauma and tumor occur, serum amyloid protein will also be high. SAA is a very sensitive indicator. It begins to rise in about 5-6 hours of inflammatory reaction, and rises significantly in case of virus infection. After the pathogen is cleared, SAA quickly drops to the normal level. Therefore, it is often used as a sensitive indicator of body infection and the regression of inflammation.
